Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using SundayMeals (“the Service,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) at sunday-meals.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

These Terms apply to all users of the Service, including meal planners (“Users”) and recipe creators (“Creators”). Additional terms specific to Creators are noted where applicable.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By using SundayMeals, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that a parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@sundaymeals.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

You may not share your account with others, create multiple accounts to circumvent subscription limits, or use automated tools to access the Service without our permission.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

4.1 Subscription Plans

SundayMeals offers the following paid plans:

• Pro Plan ($9/month): Unlimited AI-generated meal plans, nutrition tracking, meal prep optimization, and full grocery lists.
• Creator Subscriptions ($9.99/month per creator): Unlocks the full recipe library of a specific creator, including subscriber-only recipes and meal plan drops.

4.2 Billing

Paid plans are billed monthly on a recurring basis. Payment is processed by Stripe. By providing payment information, you authorize us to charge the applicable subscription fee to your payment method on each billing cycle.

4.3 Cancellation

You may cancel any subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not provide prorated refunds for partial months, except where required by applicable law.

4.4 Free Tier

The free tier allows browsing recipes and generating a limited number of meal plan previews per week. Free tier limits may change as the Service evolves. We will provide reasonable notice before reducing free tier access for existing users.

4.5 Price Changes

We reserve the right to change subscription pricing. We will give at least 30 days' notice before any price increase takes effect for active subscribers.

5. Creator Terms

5.1 Creator Accounts

Creators are individuals or entities who publish recipes, meal plans, and related content on SundayMeals. Creating a Creator account is free. A Premium Creator tier may be available with expanded features.

5.2 Revenue Share

Creators earn a share of subscriber revenue from users who subscribe to their content. The revenue split is set and communicated in the Creator Studio. SundayMeals retains a platform fee; the remaining portion is paid to Creators monthly, subject to minimum payout thresholds and payment processing fees.

5.3 Creator Content Standards

Creators are responsible for ensuring their published content:

• Is original or properly licensed
• Does not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights
• Does not contain false, misleading, or dangerous nutritional or health claims
• Does not violate any applicable laws or regulations

We reserve the right to remove content that violates these standards and to suspend or terminate Creator accounts for repeated violations.

5.4 License from Creators

By publishing content on SundayMeals, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display, reproduce, and distribute your content as part of the Service — including in AI-generated meal plans, search results, and marketing materials that showcase the platform. You retain ownership of your content and may remove it from the Service at any time.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms
• Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the Service without permission
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or access the Service's source code
• Introduce malware, viruses, or other harmful code
• Use the Service in a way that could damage, disable, or impair it
• Circumvent subscription paywalls or access controls
• Impersonate another person, creator, or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity

7. Intellectual Property

SundayMeals and its original content (excluding Creator-uploaded content), features, and functionality are owned by SundayMeals and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on our platform without our prior written permission.

The AI-generated meal plans created for your account are provided for your personal, non-commercial use. You may share them with household members but may not republish or sell them.

8. AI-Generated Content

Meal plans are generated using OpenAI's language models based on your stated preferences and the recipe database. AI-generated content may occasionally include errors, mismatched ingredients, or suboptimal suggestions. Always review meal plans and grocery lists before shopping or cooking, especially if you have allergies or dietary restrictions.

SundayMeals is not a licensed nutritionist or medical advisor. Nothing in the Service constitutes medical or dietary advice.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SUNDAYMEALS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM OR (B) $50.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, with or without notice. You may delete your account at any time through Settings or by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to access the Service ceases immediately. Any outstanding subscription obligations remain due.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which SundayMeals is registered, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in courts of competent jurisdiction in that state, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify registered users by email before material changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
